About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Free transit for Paris (France) Shanghai (China) A/R on the weekend

Hello,

I will go in Shanghai from october 13th and come back in france the October 15th. How can i do to get a free visa ? I will stay only 2 nights.

I have a letter invitation and a passport

PROST, if you the last country you come from is not France after transiting in Shanghai, you qualify for the free transit then. You need to inform the airlines that you want to use the free transit in Shanghai. After arriving at Shanghai airport, you can go to the transit counter to apply for it.

it means that it dosn't work if you want to make just a go and back from the same country (Paris - Shanghai and Shanghai - Paris) ?

Yes, Paris - Shanghai - Paris won't qualify for the free transit. You need to apply for a visa beforehand.
