About:China Visa Application Requirements

Need to apply for my daughter visa

Hello,
I am a single parent of 2years old baby. I stay in China pursuing my postgraduate education, but I need to go home and bring my daughter with me since there is no one to take care of her at home. It seems like I need her father's documents and letter of consent but I do not have contact with him. Is it possible to apply using my own documents?
Thanks in advance.

Usually, a consent letter from your husband is needed. If you cannot provide it, you are advised to contact with the embassy of China to inquire if you can still apply, or if there is another way to solve this problem.

Thank you Keller for the reply.
We were just in a relationship without getting married and broke up after I got pregnant. In this situation, do you have any idea how I can deal with it?

If so, consent letter from him may not be needed. You can just explain the situation to the consular officers to prove that you have the full custody of your daughter.
