I have plan to vist China in the fall and have a coupe of questions.

1. Can I use the 72h free transit visa for Beijing if my next flight is to Hong Kong?
2. Can I travel to see the Great Wall of China with this visa?
3. If I am planning to be in Beijing 6-9.10.17 how much will I be affected by the "Golden Week" holiday?
Thank You

Hi Eero,
1) Hong Kong is regarded as a third region in terms of transit issues. If you fly from your country to Hong Kong and transit in Beijing and hold the passports of qualified countries, you are able to use the 72-hour free transit visa.
2) Yes. You can visit the Great Wall during the 72-hour visa free transit.
3) The National Holiday in 2017 is from 1st October to 8th October. It is not suggested to travel to China during this period as most the attraction sites will be packed with domestic tourists. You may not have a good travel experience. As for the exact price of the tour, you may contact this company to get detailed information.
