About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Arrive in PEK on Hawaiian Airkines from Honolulu and leave 2 1/2 hours later on Emarates to Dubai.

Can we check luggage or should we use carryons to save time? If we check bags do we have to go through immigration?

Generally, 2.5 hours is enough for you to make an international to international transfer. You need to confirm with your airline company whether you can enjoy the Baggage Check-through Service. If you can, then you don’t need to reclaim your baggage and it will be sent to the last destination. Otherwise, you will need to claim and recheck it by yourself. You need to go through the immigration procedures no matter you check your bag or not.
