About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

About the 72 hour visa exemption

We have a cruise booked from shanghai to Japan for six days returning to shanghai will the 72 hours cover this?

Marianne, you can enjoy 144 hour free transit in Shanghai in both directions if you travel like UK-Shanghai(144 hours)-Japan-Shanghai(144 hours)-a third country instead of Japan. Have a nice trip!
