About:China Transit Visa

I am a Canadian travelling to Vancouver with two stops in China

the first one being Guangzhou for 6 hrs then a stop in Qingdao for 2 hours before heading to Vancouver. We do have to collect our luggage and reboard in Guangzhou. If we do need a visa can we get it when we land?
