Rules for applying visa in the press section. Got rejected for the 1st time & no reason shared

Hi,
I had applied for Chinese visa to VFS office in Delhi last week..however it was rejected without specifying any reason...Also, I have an official invitation letter from the Jinhua Chinese government to attend one of their Homestay program to study chinese language and culture...I work with a media company and had clearly stated the same in my application...could you please tell me what can i do now? Also, the process to apply in press section in Embassy...
