Hi, you can take your baby to China as long as he/she has an S1 type.
First, you need to provide the passport and the copy, a passport-style photo, a completed application form, an invitation letter from your school and copy of your passport and letter of admission, as well as baby's birth certificate. Then go to the China embassy to submit the application.
