About:China Work Visa

Hi, I am holding Z type which will expire the end of August,

my question is can I change Z type to family visa (my wife is chinese)? if yes, what is the process? and how long does it take?

Stef, yes, you can. You should first prepare the relevant materials including your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your wife and copy of her Chinese ID card, and your marriage certificate. Next, go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to submit the application to change the work Z type to family Q type. It may take 15 working days for this process.
