About:Passport

We have U.S. Citizen passports. We book a cruise leaving from Tianjin China on June 23

and return to Tianjin on June 28. We will fly round trip from Seoul Korea to Beijing airport on June 22, stay overnight and catch a train on June 23 to Tianjin cruise port. On June 28, after disembarking from cruise ship in Tianjin, we will catch a train to Beijing airport to fly back to Seoul Korea.

Do we qualify for China visa exemption? If not can we apply for visa at Beijing airport?

Hi, I'm afraid you cannot enjoy free transit in mainland China, and you cannot get the Beijing VOA. You are advised to apply for a visa before your departure.
