About:China Transit Visa

Hi I'm transitioning through china from the U.S.

and will be there for about 20hrs before departuring to Bali I've been hearing i have to have own my passport for at least 6 months before I can go through? But I already have my ticket is this true?

Usually, when you apply for a Chinese visa, your passport should have a remaining validity of at least 6 months. If you want to use the free transit facility in China, it doesn’t have to be valid for at least 6 months.
