About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

south africa to shanghai and from shanghai to japan.

Gd day. I wish to inquire if it is posssible for me and my wife to travel to shanghai, visit our son inlaw, pay a flight to japan for thesame purpose an d be back to south africa within one month. Thanks ephraim

SA passport holders need a visa to visit Japan, so the 24-hour transit will not work if you have no Japanese visa as the airline cannot check you in.
