About:China Visa Exemption

Arriving Beijing by Air and departing Tianjin by Cruise Ship within 24hours

We (Australian & Malaysian Passport holder leaving in Singapore) will be flying in to Beijing Int'l Airport on 7th Jun and will be departing from Tianjin Int'l Cruise Home Port to Japan on 8th Jun (to be accurate, we will be in China for less than 24 hours), do we need to apply for China Visa?

Also, we will be cruising back to Tianjin Int'l Cruise Home Port on 14th Jun and departing Beijing Int'l Airport on 15th Jun back to Singapore. Do we need to apply for China Visa for this route?

Very unfortunate that we are not able to get any help from the cruise liner on this matter and we hope we will get some advise from the expert here.

Appreciate your reply and any help in this.

Hi, if your layover time in China is less than 24 hours in both directions, no visa will be needed for that. No need to worry.
