Hello, there is no direct train or long-distance bus that operates between these two places.
Thus you can take a train and get to Huaihua Railway Station first. Then transfer to a direct train to Zhangjiajie Railway Station.
From Zhangjiajie to Shanghai: Take normal speed train from Zhangjiajie Railway Station to Shanghai South Railway Station. It takes around 21 hours on the way. The ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY527.5, hard sleeper is CNY343.5 and hard seat is CNY189.5.
