About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

What I have to do if I arrive in Beijing and I will leave China from Shanghai within 144hours

If you will be in China for less than 24 hours (from scheduled arrival in Beijing to scheduled departure from Shanghai) then you don't need a visa. If you will be in China for more than 24 hours then you need to apply for a visa in advance.
