obtain stay/humanitarian visa want to change to tourist l

Question

Right now I am on a Stay Visa here in Shanghai. (live here for 9 years had several work and Student visa)I would like to Change to a Tourist L which I have to leave the Country.I heard in Hong Kong it is very difficult now to get the L ( I never applied before in HK). Anybody knows what would be the best Option to apply for a L?I am a german passport holder

Julia, you can try to change your current stay visa to a tourist L type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB in Shanghai. If it can be done, you don’t need to leave China.
