About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144-hour china visa exemption

US citizen. Arrive Shanghai airport June 14 from Philippines,stay in downtown Shanghai hotel until June 16 to catch royal Caribbean ship in nearby port and then back to Shanghai on June 21 . Flight is before 11 pm of June 21 back to the Philippines. Do I qualify for 144- hour exemption and what are the things I need to do.

If your travel route is Philippines-Shanghai (144 hours)-a third country or region rather than Philippines-Shanghai (144 hours)-Philippines, you will qualify for the free transit in Shanghai in both directions.
