About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai - HK - Guangzhou

Hi! Thank you for all your amazing information. After a nightmare trying to get a Tourist L type i gave up and am going to get the 144hr shanghai free transit. I would also like to go to guangzhou, however i know i can not travel between the 2 on the 144hr. If i flew out of shanghai to hong kong and then to guangzhou on the same day, will there be a problem getting the transit visa in Guangzhou ? What are your thoughts? Thank you thank you!!

Hi, Lachlan, if you travel like Australia-ShanghaiHK-Guangzhou (72 hours)-a third country or region instead of HK, you can use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou then.
