About:Tiananmen Square

Hi looking at different things to do in Beijing and which to have tours for?

Is it recommended to have a tour around tiananmen square? or the Forbidden City or can you buy tour head phones when there? quite limited on time so dont want to be locked down on a day tour as want to the shows of an evening so don't want to rush around and miss anything

If you travel there on a holiday, you may not tour around the Forbidden City because you may probably be trapped there. You can also book a tour in advance. As I remember, I have booked a one-day tour from TravelChinaGuide when I have once been there. They are quite nice to arrange everything well to keep my trip smooth.
