transfer procedure at beijing capital airport?

I will be arriving on United Airlines flight from Newark USA and connecting to Air China flight to Chongqing.  How do I make this transfer?  Is it necessary to exit the international hall and find my way to the domestic hall and security?

Hello, Danny, it's an international to domestic transfer at T3. The procedures are Inspection & Quarantine, Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection - Baggage Claim - Customs Inspection - Going through Transfer Formalities - Security check - Waiting & Boarding. Upon landing, many English signs at PEK can help you find the right transfer passageway. Don't worry.
