What is the procedure if I want to stay for 6 months with my son

I have multiple entries valid visa want to spend time with my grand son for 6 months, what are my procedures?

If the duration of stay of your current visa is less than 6 months, you can extend it in a local Entry and Exit Administative Office when in China. Usually, they will allow you to stay longer.
