If you visit China for tourism purpose, first, prepare the documents: your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and passport-style photo taken recently, proof of your financial support, travel itinerary, round trip air tickets, and hotel booking record, as well as an invitation letter from the Chinese travel agency.
Next, submit the application to China embassy.
