Question

I have a transit of 16 hours and 9 hours In return Shanghai. Do I need a visa if I wanna go out of the airport on those 16 hours waiting for the next flight?

Maria, if you travel like Australia-Shanghai (16 hours)-Albania-Shanghai (9 hours)-Australia, you don't need it. You can apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport, and then you can leave the airport to explore the city.
