About:bj09

I intend to fly London to Beijing , 2 nights in Beijing, then on to to Tokyo ,

spending 2 days in Tokyo and then Tokyo to Shanghai 5 nights in Shanghai and then back to London. I want to use the free visa scheme in both directions. Is that OK?

Rob, yes, it is ok. You can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing and the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
