transfer in guiyang north

Question

I am taking a train from Anshun to Guiyang North that arrives at 09:46 and then transferring in Guiyang North to a ride going to Shenzhen that leaves at 10:12. I only have 26 minutes to make this transfer in Guiyang North and am travelling with luggage and 2 small children. We are not native Chinese speakers. Is this enough time to make our connection?

Usually 26min should be OK. It is important to use the transfer service. You need to have the paper tickets for both two trips in advnace. Once you arrive at Guiyang North, do not go for the exit, but use the transfer signs. You can use the elevators or go upstars to reach the waiting room directly for the second ride. However, since you are travelling with two small children as well, it would be better if you can hurry up during this connection.
