About:Xian Xianyang International Airport

Transfer from Terminal 3 to 5

Hello, we are flying from Budapest via Xi'An to Kunming and have to transfer in Xi'An airport from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5. We only have 2 hours and 20 minutes for the transfer. Do we have to enter China already in Xi'An or does this only happen in Kunming? Or is there a way from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 via a transit route? Is the time sufficient?

You will accept border check in Xi'an, the first stop in China and you can take the shuttle bus to transfer to T5. I think time is enough. But be quick.
