About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

We are flying from Chicago to Shanghai Pudong Airport on United Airlines.

We have about a 2 hour layover before our flight on Vietnam Airlines to Ho Chi Mihn City. Will 2 hours be enough? Will we have to claim and then recheck bags? We are flying business class on both flights - should that help the process? THANK YOU!

Ben, you will have an international to international transfer at the same T2. You need to go through the produces as fast as possible if you only have 2 hours’ layover.
You need confirm with your airline company whether you can enjoy the Baggage Check-through Service. If you can, then you do not need to claim your baggage and recheck it because it will be sent to Ho Chi Minh directly. If not, you need to claim the baggage by yourself.
In addition, yes, you will have the priority to get off the plane earlier, which will save time for the next procedures.
