Student Visa runs out March 26- but have documents for work Z type

Urgent! Hello, my study X type runs out on March 26th but I have already lined up a working Z type with all the documents. My work place issuing the document says I need to leave and re enter on the work Z type. Is it possible to change from my X1 type to the working Z type within china? Cheers
