Is is possible to apply for a Chinese visa at the embassy in London if I am not a UK citizen? Or do I need to fly home for a few days and apply for one there? Thanks!

Mackenize, yes, it’s possible for you to make the application in UK. You should apply for it from the CVASC in London.
