About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US citizen traveling back to US from Manila

My 14 year old son and I are traveling back to the USA but want to stop in Beijing to visit walled city. Do we need a visa if We arrive in Beijing at 12:05 am Via Cebu Airways then leave for the USA on August 1 at 4:30 pm via Delta? Flight to US is confirmed. Thanks!

We arrive in Beijing July 31 at 12 am. Sorry failed to include that.

If you're traveling on an US passport you're fine to use the 72h twov.
