hi, i am traveling from phnom penh, cambodia with my husband, going to osaka japan.

Question

Our flight transit in Shanghai PVG airport for 12 hours and 55 minutes. I'm using ordinary Cambodia Airport while my husband uses Cambodian Service passport. We would like to explore Shanghai. Can we obtain 72 hours free transit in Shanghai? My husband will get Japanese free entry for 14days upon arriving Osaka. While i had Japan visa in advance. Kindly attach the reference regarding your answer. Thank you very much in advance.

Holders of Cambodian diplomatic or service passports can enter China visa-free for 30 days. You can apply for an entry permit on arrival, however it's at the discretion of the immigration officer.
