high speed train to shenzhen from guangzhou

Hi! is there a high speed ride running from Guangzhou now to shenzhen. we are staying in the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou and would like to visit Dafen Art Village in Shenzhen but normal trains will take us almost 2 hours travel time. If there is a high speed ride it will only take us 40 minutes? is it operational?thank you in advance!!

The closer station should be Guangzhou and GZ East. There are high speed rides to SZ, but stil need about 90min. If you take G rides from south station, it would be about 40min. However, go for south station, it would take you about 50min.
