high speed train to shenzhen from guangzhou

Hi! is there a high speed ride running from Guangzhou now to shenzhen. we are staying in the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou and would like to visit Dafen Art Village in Shenzhen but normal trains will take us almost 2 hours travel time. If there is a high speed ride it will only take us 40 minutes? is it operational?
