About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Round Trip from US to Beijing but leaving the country in between

Hi, I am booking a round trip from the US to Beijing but plan to leave Beijing within 72-hours to fly to Bangkok. I will be gone for approx. 6 days, then plan to return to Beijing to catch my already booked flight back to the US. Because I am leaving Beijing and then returning, do I still qualify for the 72-hour Visa Free Transit?

Ana
