About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Round Trip to Beijing and third Country inbetween

Is it a problem if I flew round trip from NYC to Beijing (Arrive Saturday and Leave the following Saturday) however on Tuesday(within 72hrs) I flew to another country (south korea etc.) then return Saturday prior to my flight back to NYC. I would remain in the airport that following saturday just to connect on my flight back to the US. Would this be an issue?

Matt, you mean your travel route will be like this: NYC-Beijing-South Korea (or another country)-Beijing-NYC? If yes and your layover time in Beijing is less than 72 hours respectively, you can enjoy free transit in Beijing. And it won’t be an issue.
