Do i, Myanmar citizen, need a transit visa in Kunming for 15 hours, to go to Canada?

I am a Myanmar citizen travelling to Canada through Kunming in transit with East China airlines. My waiting time in Kunming is 15 hours. Do I need a transit permit? If so, what kind specifically?
