About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am on a cruise sailing from Hong Kong on to shanghai where the ship is docked from 0600 until 2

I am on a cruise originating from hong kong then on to shanghai where the ship will be docked from 0600 until 2200hrs and then on to Japan will I rewire a visa for this stay or would it come under waiver program

Stephen, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit if you travel like that. No visa will be needed then, but you’d better confirm that with the cruise ship company.
