About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hi I will be disembarking a cruise ship in Shanghai (last port of call Korea)

and will then be getting transferred to the airport for a flight home to the UK. I think the 72 hour visa should do me but I cannot find out how I get it. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.

Elaine, you will be able to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. You just need to inform the cruise company that you want to use free transit facility in Shanghai, after arriving at Shanghai port, apply for the free transit at the immigration office.
