clarification of document

Question

please am from Nigeria but i will love to visit china for just two weeks visit, what are the document required and what are the step i have to take. i will also want to know if i can apply for it myself or i will need a travel agency to process it for me

If you go there for sightseeing purpose, you can just apply for a tourist L type. You can apply for it on your own. You need to provide your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, a passport-style photo, hotel reservation, and round trip air tickets, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary.
