About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

U.S. - Beijing, China - New Zealand

My husband and I are U.S. citizens holding passports, and are traveling from the U.S. to New Zealand with a 30 hour layover in Beijing. What paperwork needs to be completed before exiting the Beijing airport without a visa?

Meghann, you just need to provide your passport, the confirmed air tickets, and valid visa for New Zealand. You are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
