About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

My itinerary will be PARIS - SHANGHAI (only for 4 hours

but we take our luggages and have to check in again) - SEOUL - SHANGHAI (this time for 6 days) - PARIS.

The flights are separated, which means we took a Paris-Shanghai (round trip) with AIR FRANCE + a Shanghai-Seoul-Shanghai (round trip) with KOREAN AIR, two different companies.
Does it still work ? We will just have to present our KOREAN AIR rerservation when we get to the immigration desk ? And will it be okay for AIR FRANCE when we registrer in France to inform that we don't have VISA because we have another flight with another company ?
Thanks

Romain, it still works. If you travel like that, you can enjoy free transit in Shanghai in both directions.
You should inform the airlines that you want to use the free transit in Shanghai when you board the plane in Korea.
You need to provide your passport, air tickets and valid entry permit for Korea at the immigration desk.
