About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Q1 visa and Temporary Residency Permit

Visiting my wife on a Q1 type, initially for one year, will of course apply for the Temporary Residency Permit within 30 days of arrival....How easy will it be to renew the permit after the initial year is up, is it just a case of visiting the PSB office and requesting it...

The extension process is almost the same as the process you apply for the residence permit. You should first prepare the required documents, and then go to the PSB office to renew it. It is not difficult.
