About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

I am currently studying in the Netherlands, do I have to come to Switzerland to apply for a visa?

I am currently doing an excahnge year in the Netherlands. With my minor we are going to go to Shanghai for one month. The purpose of the minor is to work with a european company, which wants to outsource or expand to China. On location, we will be having classes at a local university and also meet potential business partners for our chosen companies.
Do i have to come back to switzerland to apply for the visa?
Which type am i going to need?

Michael, actually, you can apply for it in Netherlands.
