You should provide those documents for Q type: your passport and its copy, a completed application form affixed with a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from your wife and copy of her Chinese ID card, and your marriage certificate.

Do i need to change my marital status in passport also for marriage. if need to change , can get it change this in Guangzhou itself ? Can i work in China on this Q type ? Q type is for how long ?. thanks.

You need to change the marital status on your passport and you can change it in Guangzhou. You cannot work on a Q type. If you get Q1 type, you can get the residence permit in China and you will be able to stay in China for more than 180 days.
