About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Arriving in shanghi from cruise ship, departing from Shanghi airport 3 days later is a visa required

Disembarking from a Royal Carrabean cruise ship at Shanghi on 9th April, Embarkeding ship in Singapore, visiting, Vietnam,Hong Kong,Okinawa (Japan). Hotel in Shanghi booked for 3 night stay, then flying out of Shanghi airport on 12th April back to UK via Denmark (flights booked) do I qualify for the 144 hour in transit free. If so what is the procedure when I disembark the ship.
Born in the UK, holding a UK passport valid until 2026
Cruise line not helpful at all

Tony, yes, you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. When you disembark the cruise ship in Shanghai, you should go to the immigration office to apply for the 144 hour free transit.

Thank you Tony for your question, we was also trying to find out about a visa for China. We are doing the same trip but leaving Shanghi on the 9th April later in the day and would like to see the city before leaving. Thank you Jerry
