About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

from Singapore to Shanghai to Vancouver

I have an one way air ticket from Singapore to Shanghai and stay in Shanghai for 48 hours then I have another separate one way air ticket ( different airlines ) from Shanghai to Vancouver, do I eligible for 72-hour Visa-free Transit program.
