About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour question from Seoul

Hello.
If I fly from Seoul to Beijing, then leave within 72 hours to Tokyo, do I qualify for the visa if my departing flight makes a 2 hr stop in Seoul before heading on to Tokyo? Thank you. (So INC direct to PEK then PEK-INC-NRT)

For Chinese immigration, your routing is ICN-PEK-ICN, so you're not in transit. Therefore you will need a visa in advance for this.
