About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

US to china to Thailand, then back.

So I am flying US to shanghai(2 nights) to Thailand. Then after two week stay will doing the same in return Thailand, shanghai, to US. does this work for the 72 hour transit? Can i do one on the way there and one on the way back?

Carlee, if your travel route is US-Shanghai (2 nights)-Thailand-Shanghai (144 hours)-US, you will be eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai in both directions.
