About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours free visa in Shanghai, China

Embark on a cruise in Singapore going to Vietnam,Hongkong,Okinawa and disembark in Shanghai,China.
Plane ticket from USA stop in Shanghai, China, then to Singapore. Returning ticket Shanghai,China nonstop to USA. Do I qualify for 144 hours free transit? Carrying US passport. Thanks.
