About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

guangdong 144 hr not possible

Guandong airport only allows 72 hr visa free transit. Please clarify whether 144 hr is possible and under what circumstances. Also how is 72 hr calculated for guangdong airport arrival/departure.

Janet, if you fly to Guangzhou Baiyun airport from a country, and stay there for not more than 144 hours, after, fly to a different country, you will be able to make use of the 144 hour free transit in Guangzhou.
