About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi! I am from Kazakhstan and going to Bangkok by Southern China Airlines.

Plane makes 2 stops, first stop is in Urumqi, lasts about 8 hours, second stop in Guangzhou and lasts about 5 hours. Do i need to apply for transit visa or not?

Yes, you need to apply for a transit G type for that.
